Return & Refund Policy

Quirke accepts eligible returns for kitchen cutting boards purchased through quirke.shop. This policy explains the return window, accepted condition, return method, return label, inspection process, exchanges, refund timing, and kitchen-product condition requirements.

Return Window and Accepted Return Types

Returns are accepted for defective and non-defective products within 30 days after delivery. Product condition: new only. Returned items must be unused, clean, dry, odor-free, free of food residue, knife marks, moisture damage, stains, oiling, dishwashing marks, customer-caused scratches, missing pieces, and returned with original packaging when possible.

Return Method, Label, and Fees

Return method: by mail. Return label: included in the package, free. Restocking fees: No cost. No restocking fee applies to approved returns. Customers should package boards securely so corners, handles, grooves, surfaces, and set pieces are protected during return transit.

Kitchen Board Condition Notes

Items may be refused if they show cutting marks, food stains, odor, water swelling, warped surfaces caused after delivery, washed or oiled surfaces, damaged corners caused after delivery, missing boards from a set, or signs of kitchen use. For hygiene and inspection reasons, used food-prep products cannot be accepted as new-condition returns unless the return relates to a verified defect.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If an item arrives cracked, warped, chipped, missing a set piece, incorrect in material, incorrect in color, incorrect in size, or different from the order, email care@quirke.shop before mailing it back. Include the order number, product name, a short description of the issue, and clear photos of the board, edge, handle, groove, surface, packaging, and shipping carton if damage is visible.

How to Start a Return

To start a return, contact care@quirke.shop with the order number, customer name, item name, return reason, and photos when relevant. Returns without order identification may take longer to process. Please wait for return instructions before mailing the product.

Refund Timing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after the return is received and inspected. Refund processing time: 10 days after approval. Banks, card issuers, and payment providers may require additional time to post funds to the account.

Exchanges and Cancellations

Accept exchanges for eligible items when the requested replacement is available. If the requested material, size, color, or set format is unavailable, the customer may return the eligible item and place a new order. Orders may be cancelled only before fulfillment begins. Once an order is packed or shipped, the return process applies.
